以前に奈良県宇陀方面にて既存住宅のサッシ窓雨戸をリフォームしました。
昭和に建てられた住宅の窓が木製枠で作られたガラス戸で雨戸も木製の 雨戸が取り付けてありました。
昭和後期までは雨戸に限らずガラス戸、玄関ドアにいたるまでなんでも木製で作られていました。その技術の高さは４０年以上経ってもイガミがなくスムーズに開閉できるほどです。
もったいないですが防犯上や断熱性能の観点からサッシ窓やアルミ製の雨戸に交換しました。
